The seller reserves the right to cancel orders due to incorrect pricing, obvious errors, or incomplete information, as well as to discontinue products without prior notice. All prices are displayed inclusive of VAT (either 24% or 11%, as applicable). Shipping costs are added before checkout is completed.
Handcrafted items
All handcrafted items sold by Handavinnubarinn are made with care and attention. As each item is handmade, natural variations in color, texture, size, and appearance may occur. Such variations are a natural part of handcrafted products and do not constitute defects.
Product images are for illustrative purposes only and may not exactly represent each individual item.
Returns & Refunds
Customers have the right to return items within 14 days of receipt in accordance with distance selling regulations, provided that proof of purchase is supplied. Returned items must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.
Refunds are always based on the original purchase price.
Sale items may only be exchanged for other sale items.
Gift cards are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Custom-made or personalized items are excluded from the right of withdrawal. Items that have been used or opened in a way that makes them no longer resalable are also excluded.
Refunds are issued using the original payment method and processed within 14 days of return approval.
Defective Items
Customers are encouraged to inspect items upon delivery. Any defects must be reported within a reasonable time after the defect is discovered, in accordance with the Icelandic Consumer Sales Act.
Depending on the situation, we offer repair, replacement, or a refund. For defective items, the seller covers any applicable return shipping costs.
Shipping
Orders are generally shipped via Dropp, unless otherwise stated. We offer free delivery for the Reykjanes area (area codes; 230, 232, 233, 260 og 262 and 190, 240, 245, 250 and availability to pick up upon request via email at handavinnubarinn@handavinnubarinn.is. Standard delivery time within Iceland is 2–5 business days. Should any delays occur, the customer will be contacted as soon as possible. We recommend that items are inspected upon delivery. Any defects must be reported within 14 days.
